What it is
VentureStrat’s investor database is a searchable directory of more than 120,000 startup investors, built for founders who need to find the right people to pitch rather than browse every fund on earth.
Each profile tells you what an investor backs and how to reach them. You filter down to the investors who match your round and add them to your pipeline, in the same place where you will later write and track your outreach.
Who it's for
It is built for pre seed and seed founders, especially those raising without a network of warm introductions.
If you already know every partner in your sector by first name, you probably don’t need it. If you are a first time founder, or raising far from the big startup hubs, it turns weeks of spreadsheet research into an afternoon of filtering. VentureStrat is a global platform, so founders use it wherever they are raising.
What's in the data
Every investor profile shows what the investor backs and how to contact them.
Stage and sector focus tell you whether they fit, and the contact details let you reach them once they do. Search and filters are unlimited on every plan, so you can narrow or widen your list as often as you like. Your plan sets how many investors you can add to your pipeline each month.

How founders use it
Most founders start by filtering for their stage and sector, then move the investors who fit straight into outreach.
From there VentureStrat’s AI drafts a personalized first email for each investor, and the fundraising CRM keeps track of who replied and who needs a follow up. If you would rather send from your own inbox, export the list to CSV and take it with you.
Limits and honesty
A database tells you who invests in companies like yours. It cannot tell you who will invest in yours.
Some contact details will be out of date, because partners move between funds and inboxes change. No investor list on the market is free of that. Having an investor’s email is also not the same as having their attention. Cold outreach works when the investor truly fits your round, which is why the filters matter more than the headline number. And if most of your round will come from people you already know, a CRM for those conversations will help you more than a list of strangers.
Questions
- How often is it updated?
- Every month. Investors who change funds or shift focus get picked up in that monthly refresh, so a small share of records will always be a few weeks behind.
- How much does it cost?
- Plans run from $69 a month on Starter to $149 a month on Scale, and every plan starts with a 3 day trial with no card required. The pricing page shows what each plan includes.
- Is this only for pre seed and seed founders?
- That is who we build for and where the filters work best, but any founder raising from angels or venture funds can use it.
